1. Where does your name come from?

It seems that there’s a lot (that has been considered), but (they translated) number 10 into the english "Ten" so that it would be easier for foreigners to remember too


2. What comes to mind when you speak of “Ten-chan”?

Long black haired?

Ears


4. What do you want to eat right now?

Nankotsu!


5. Is your height still growing? Please tell us stories from being tall

I’m growing! When taking pictures of members, it will naturally taken from a higher angle, so it always feels like I could take (their) pictures more cutely

7. What animal would you compare yourself to?

Monkey. I feel like we have similar ear shapes...

I won’t eat (I want to end it with the feeling of ‘Man, I’m hungry’)

Cutting my hair

I don’t really know about idols, so rather than wanting to become an idol, my feelings of wanting to sing or perform this and that songs were stronger

How I am able to produce music

I really struggled with “Hanshin Hangi”s dance

During break I completely fall asleep for 2 hours

38. What do you have in mind when deciding on your fashion coordination?

There is less chance to go out, so I didn’t think about the season anymore… Since I usually start from deciding what I want to wear for the day, I guess I mostly think about it freely?

Pants style. For skirts I often wear a flared skirts, and I’m interested on mini skirts, but I don’t have the courage… (laughs)

Key(s), wallet, eye drops, a comb, ring, a water bottle (kabosu infused water my grandmother made), frog-shaped toothbrush ♡ (it’s a match with my little sister, she has rabbit- shaped one)

Kobayashi Yui interview in Tokyo Calendar March 2024 edition

The interview was conducted after the end of Sakurazaka46’s 3rd Anniversary Live, and right after Kobayashi Yui announced her graduation. The month of December. Kobayashi-san, who exudes a mature atmosphere, blended in with the streets of Ginza in no time. That was the picture at the beginning, taken on a street corner. First, I asked her about her impression of Ginza. “I have the impression that it’s quiet and calming. I feel that most people there are those who are working nearby rather than youngsters” she explains, but also adds that she’s not knowledgeable about Ginza. “There are so many stores here that I feel like exploring.
